Spirituality: Zoom in on JESUS CHRIST, our LORD and Only SAVIOR, The Only One that can save us from everyday mess.

Strategy to Self: Pray&fast. Meditate on the words of JESUS, day and night. Sing worship songs for JESUS. Tithes and love offering. Attend Church services with the intention of glorifying JESUS CHRIST alone, soaking up in thankfulness for HIS kindness towards you and your loved ones; not minding other people’s lordship over your poor soul. Let JESUS correct your mental, emotional, and physical health. Dress properly when out and about to cover your precious self from future harm.

Proverbs 29:2

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

RELATIONSHIPS

People: People are people while animals are not. Do not interchange the order. Though we may see some people treating other people as animals or acting like one, don’t mind them for if they’re truly humans, they will soon come to an understanding and default back to humanity. But if they’re truly animals in the first place, all the more reason not to be bothered by them for they can never go back to anything and they will never understand no matter how you talk them out of it – they’re simply animals. Let’s take good care of animals but let’s be humans. People, no matter how big or different they may appear, are of equal level. Animals, on the other hand, are below us.

Strategy to Relationships: Be honest with other people, serve them as needed, lift them up when able, help them when prompted, encourage and comfort them when they’re in pain, communicate/ connect with them, celebrate with them in their success stories when given a chance, try to support them when they grieve, listen to their hearts

Proverbs 29:11

“A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.”

Controversial topics:

Money is just a piece of paper or a sounding bling. It cannot change a person nor multiply people even if you put one bill on top of another one. It’s just printed in special paper but there’s nothing really special about it except the fact that it hides some kind of a background.

Background: The result of people’s experiences as they work together.

As soon as people decide to work together as humans:

We will not see a bigger person because one person is as small as another. We will not look at or treat others as under our control because we are all just the same. We’re all only humans unless we don’t understand then we’re in trouble.

So as my co-humans, let’s try to see some rich man of great knowledge, wealth, and connections:
*created a goodly medicine that is supposed to give cure to some unknown sickness; tested it on poor people; sold it to others who can pay; stands confident that he’s gonna be okay wherever he goes and just heavily focuses back on the fact that his discovered meds are the answer to save humanity while he had already wiped out other portion of humanity that didn’t make it in the test; the public has mixed feedback: others like it, others are okay with, still others are just busy or don’t care at all or don’t know.

That rich man appears to be human but based on his actions and how he treated other people, he is potentially a sea monster incorporated but I may never know for sure. So as I navigate through my new-found strategy, I will not be bothered by him. But if it turns out that that man is not a human but actually an animal, then we can all easily take good care of it.

Matthew 7:20

“Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

When you invest in yourself, it doesn’t say that you become negatively selfish. There are too many things that concern you as you are a creation of JESUS; we are HIS masterpiece so try to open your mind to your potential as a child of GOD and see that you will be able to enjoy this Life more abundantly because our Life is actually JESUS CHRIST:

People work with other working people. As we work together in Life, we find strength, comfort, love, inspiration, motivation, and a desire to live more because JESUS has designed for us to live with HIM for eternity. But when our work is corrupt, that is, when we get blinded not to see that a piece of paper is just what it looks to be which is a piece of paper, or people are people, or that ideas are unlimited, we can be potentially evil and so we get a tendency to do these crazy stuff:

We burn people, instead of paper
We see paper as unlimited, instead of ideas
We multiply paper and ideas, instead of people
Then we limit each other as if we’re The CREATOR, JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS is The Only One who can speak of which one gets to calm down and which ones will overflow. We just follow.

Genesis 1:27

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

So are you excited about your payday like a dog salivates for when his master throws the bone?

Or have you already set your calendar for when you or your loved ones or friends will eat out to celebrate the gift of Life, connect, share good laugh, feast on healthy food, and just be present like how our GOD, JESUS CHRIST has always been with us:

1 Corinthians 15:10

“But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

John 11:25

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”

Proverbs 12:28

“In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.”

2 Corinthians 13:8

“For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”

The Truth: JESUS CHRIST is GOD, The FATHER, The SON of GOD, The HOLY SPIRIT.

JESUS is within our hearts; is everywhere; and is coming soon. Whether it’s in our generation that HE returns, let us be grateful that we have GOD, by the Name JESUS CHRIST, that has given us another chance to live better this time here, and has promised us and prepared for us a place in the new heaven hereafter.

Good ground

8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when HE had said these things, HE cried, he that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the WORD, keep IT, and bring forth fruit with patience. Luke

Whether rich or poor, we are all pulled down to the ground by the world’s science of gravity. It doesn’t matter whether you’re on Penthouse floor or basement, we’re all destined to be on the ground.

But JESUS talks about the beauty of falling on good ground: That we can actually see results of up to a hundred percent finality of our faith in JESUS CHRIST now that we are grounded.

Here on the ground:

away from my bed that could give me beauty rest; away from the dining table where I could grab a snack; away from other people, from my loved ones even, that could get in between this time and chance to meditate on JESUS’ messages; away from all the distractions that my head could easily absorb.

3:30 HE must increase, but I must decrease.

3:31 HE that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: HE that cometh from heaven is above all. John

What I do though while I’m on this ground may be entirely different from what others do and totally opposite what one may expect but that’s what is even more wonderful about this ground thing- You do you:

31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know ME, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah

31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their GOD, and they shall be my people.

So whether you’re on top of the food chain, in the middle, or down there at the bottom part, JESUS has given all of us to fall on the good ground to pray, fast, meditate on HIS WORD, read about HIS testimonies and stories, sing glory songs for HIM and just simply thank JESUS CHRIST for being our GOD that has saved us from curse, from hopelessness, from evil information:

2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD GOD to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of LIFE also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Genesis

JESUS has grown different sets of trees however for some reason, we have a tendency to zoom in on the wrong tree.

But here are the other trees that are helpful and beneficial:

Pleasant to the sight

Good for food

Tree of LIFE

These three things are JESUS CHRIST:

Though we cannot see HIM, HE is indeed pleasant to the sight for HE is GOD, The HOLY GHOST.

HE is Good for food that can heal our hungry bellies that had been fed with lies after lies for many many years about idols we mistakenly worship but can’t save a single thing.

22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation

6:35 And JESUS said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. John

Though we have acquired different sorts of knowledge over time, may we still see each other soon at the tree of the knowledge of good ground, just right there at the feet of JESUS CHRIST:

95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Psalm

2:10 That at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

2:11 And that every tongue should confess that JESUS CHRIST is LORD, to the glory of GOD the FATHER. Philippians

he did not complain

Not at all. That man who talked to JESUS while they were there at Calvary, he did not complain as to why he was there. Instead he simply explained to the other sinner what he could understand about them and about JESUS and then he talked to HIM; HE asked JESUS to remember him.

At the end of their conversation, JESUS did not just do what the man asked for: HE went above and beyond when HE replied:

“Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be CHRIST, save thyself and us.

23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear GOD, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

23:42 And he said unto JESUS, LORD, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

23:43 And JESUS said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Luke

Though we have a tendency to complain about almost everything, good or bad, may we still find a spot where we can ask JESUS for a memory of all the great things HE has given us like our life, family, friends and relatives, strangers who helped us one starry night when we badly needed help from a major accident but we just can’t recall their precious names now, etc.

May we always find the right time to thank HIM, glorify JESUS for the situations HE has allowed us to be in and for the plans HE has yet to give:

29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

29:14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. Jeremiah

Spirit

Ecclesiastes 3:21

“Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?”

1 John 4:3

“And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”

1 John 4:6

“We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.”

1 Corinthians 2:11

“For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.”

“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.”

Why are we evil?

Matthew 7:11

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask HIM?”

“steal, kill, destroy”: these are just some of the evil things we automatically do to each other, faith-wise.

Steal: we steal time from someone else to have time for us instead of giving him the time for JESUS; to listen to us, instead of letting him savor that time to meditate on JESUS’ words; to work for us instead of allowing him to work in The Name of JESUS CHRIST.

Kill: we kill someone else’s delight in JESUS by presenting him with a totally different kind of activity to find pleasure in; leading him to be happy about something else not pertaining to his MAKER; giving him a tour in the slaughterhouse instead of opening the door of the house of GOD where he can be safe, waiting for JESUS’ return.

Destroy: we destroy someone’s heart by occupying it so much so that there’s no more room for The HOLY SPIRIT to squeeze in; caging his heart with heart-breaking lies, telling him there are other ways to receive love whilst there is only One:

Romans 5:8

“But GOD commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us.”

1 John 4:16

“And we have known and believed the love that GOD hath to us. GOD is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in GOD, and GOD in him.”

John 3:16

“For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The next time you get disappointed by others’ behavior against you, or you find yourself failing yourself, no matter how good you thought you have shown for the world to see, instead of feeling sad and helpless, kindly consider: we’re all similarly evil; We disappoint, we fail. But although we’re not good, JESUS CHRIST is; HE is GOD and HE has made a way for us to be good, to be saved.

Luke 1:37

“For with GOD nothing shall be impossible.”

5JESUS answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.

6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the SPIRIT is spirit.

7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the SPIRIT.

9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

10JESUS answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? John 3

Please remember that this amazing life is not about good and evil. Life is JESUS CHRIST and HE is Good. But to say that HE is Good is an understatement: HE has raised dead people to life, cleansed the lepers, made the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear, the sick to get well, the storm to calm, and the devil to hide. Also in our generation, I have heard JESUS healed cancer patients, lepers, etc., HE has given me opportunities that allowed us to pay our debts, HE restored my broken family, made my 3-month abnormally heavy menstrual bleeding to cease without the help of a physician, freed me from insanity, and has continued to provide for me and for my family many-to-mention blessings that I have missed to religiously thank HIM for. There is not just a proper word that can measure up with JESUS CHRIST except “GOD”.

John 10:30

“I and my Father are one.”

1 John 5:7

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

1 John 5:6

“This is he that came by water and blood, even JESUS CHRIST; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the SPIRIT that beareth witness, because the SPIRIT is TRUTH.”

John 14:6

“JESUS saith unto him, I AM The WAY, The TRUTH, and The LIFE: no man cometh unto the FATHER, but by ME.”

You have skills, some wealth, time, good health, loved ones. You’re all set if you only understand that JESUS CHRIST is GOD That has blessed you with all the things you have gathered to be ready for HIS return. You don’t have to worry anymore nor get upset and offended when you or others throw their evils right in front of you. Instead, try to exercise your faith in The Name of JESUS CHRIST that HE has done all the works for us to escape from evil, and try to trust HIM more and more each time, knowing that HE will make you overcome your battles. After all, it’s never our battle, it’s all The LORD’s:

Romans 12:21

“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Do you need good health? Ask for it.

Do you need wealth? Ask for it.

Do you need honor? Ask for it.

But when HE answers you back with “yes”, “no”, or “wait”, there’s no more sense to ask further. Instead, be thankful that You have learned how to ask for it is a sign that you have humbled yourself in the Presence of GOD, JESUS CHRIST. It is not just somebody that answers our prayers. JESUS has always been The Answer, The Key:

Psalms 86:7

“In the day of my trouble I will call upon THEE: for THOU wilt answer me.”

If it is this easy to regain health, gain great wealth, and have honor by simply asking JESUS CHRIST, then why is not everybody healthy, wealthy, or honorable? We can ask JESUS 😊

Matthew 23:12

“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

I don’t think that this verse means one will be better than his human counterpart. It is just what it says it to be:

“…and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.”

There’s no competition. This is Salvation:

Luke 3:6

“And all flesh shall see the Salvation of GOD.”

To answer the question in today’s blog: Sometimes, we care so much about our temporary life instead of that One True LIFE that is JESUS CHRIST.

Job 2:4

“And satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.”

38Now it came to pass, as they went, that HE entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received HIM into her house.

39And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at JESUS’ feet, and heard HIS Word.

40But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to HIM, and said, LORD, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

41And JESUS answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:

42But One Thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that Good Part, which shall not be taken away from her. Luke 10

Let us always choose and do Good; Let us always, always have JESUS CHRIST regardless.

Well taken care of

You don’t need to be born of a rich clan to receive proper care.

You don’t have to be from a poor family to be deprived of comfort.

You don’t even have to be in the middle of the two distinct worlds to be okay with anything.

All you need to have is the understanding that GOD is real and alive and that its Name is JESUS CHRIST and that HE is coming anytime so be ready to experience HIS limitless blessings of care, comfort and more than all the good stuff ever combined.

You may be grateful to JESUS for the people who helped you to start your walk with HIM or for the opportunities you have received from HIM to enjoy a good quality lifestyle. But we have to carefully consider that it is never the person nor the situation that we honor in life. It is ONLY The ALMIGHTY GOD, JESUS CHRIST that deserves our worship-thanks. If we are in the middle of a stormy situation in life, perhaps we just have to check:

“did I just give glory to the wrong thing?”

May we never stop to love JESUS CHRIST for HE cares for all of us. May we never forget HIS old and new miracles, HIS ways, HIS plans, HIS thoughts, HIS words, HIS blessings.

7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.

9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Rabboni

Angels had to ask Mary the reason for her weeping which shows how even angels can’t genuinely comprehend what a person, who is deeply in love with JESUS, is going through.

But JESUS, The ALMIGHTY GOD, knows the right questions to ask a human. Not because HE couldn’t reveal our secrets, but only so that Mary would receive her ultimate breakthrough when JESUS called her by her own name. It was only then that Mary fully received The HOLY SPIRIT, after which she uttered her perfect worship spelled in cinematic seven letters: “Rabboni”.

11But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,

12And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

13And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.

14And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

15Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.

16Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

17Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

18Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her. John 20

Mary could have engaged in more conversations with JESUS but by this time, she was able to understand that JESUS is more than what she thought HIM to be.

So what is JESUS?

27Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

30And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

GOD so loved us that HE came down and lived as humans live, died as humans die, but rose again like no creature can ever do. A gift.

JESUS is GOD.

There’s no other way that we can take to go to Heaven, to have eternal life. Though it may be difficult at times to take this road of understanding this doctrine that JESUS is GOD, if you will begin today to walk with JESUS, learning more about HIM each day, reading, scanning, searching The Bible, verifying HIS Words with your own reality, you can come to a conclusion that:

14Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

15And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

19Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? John 7

2 Corinthians 6:2

“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)”

“In the time of my favor I heard you,
    and in the day of salvation I helped you.”^[a]

I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

John 14:6

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

1 John 5:11

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.”

John 6:68

“Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.”

Romans 2:7

“To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:”

⁷ To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

JESUS as The Father is invisible.
JESUS as The Son is visible.
JESUS as The Holy Spirit is felt, understood, visible and invisible, enters in our hearts, leads us…

Acts 19:5

“When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

40And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

41Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. Acts 2

We may have different learning curves and levels of faith, but may this knowledge and faith that I have received since I got born again benefit you in a very good way, particularly in growing closer to my GOD, JESUS CHRIST, and help you live an abundant, healthy powerful life too as we wait for JESUS’ return.

How many have you ticked?

Some good people with great riches have extended their help to the less privileged which shows an example of when our Good LORD JESUS CHRIST, that although HE owns all created things, let go of all the good stuff HE had back there in the old heaven to give us all a chance to inherit the new heaven that HE has been preparing for us since HIS earthly ministry.

But of course there are still the other rich guys who have been blinded by some evil spirits, turning their eyes away from the poor, even those who they know by name, say their family, relatives, friends, people in their community, even those who ask them for just a little bit of blessings to be showered with.

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. Luke 16

Sometimes even us average Joes may find ourselves turning a blind eye from the poor. But the next time we’re given a day to share what we have been blessed with and we have the means to do so, may we find time to check our hearts for a moment and try to see the beauty in sharing some comfort with others; that we could actually find pleasure in seeing someone receive grace from GOD and that our own hands have been used for that one fine day.

But we have different levels of giving capacity.

John 16:7

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

JESUS CHRIST, our GOD, The Best Giver, our Jehovahjireh.

So what we can learn from the rich man vs poor guy story are just some of the following points:

Deuteronomy 8:18

“But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.”

Ecclesiastes 5:19

“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.”

Job 31:25

²²Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone. ²³For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure. ²⁴If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence; ²⁵If I rejoiced because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had gotten much; ²⁶If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness; ²⁷And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand: ²⁸This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.

Basically we just have to be careful when we have received some financial blessings from JESUS. Portioning: We first give to JESUS HIS portion, take our portion, and then portion the rest and by rest I mean leaving some extra for in case we get to be led to give away.

JESUS has tried each of us and knew that even the most seemingly perfect man who comes face to face with GOD finds it impossible to give to a seemingly poor Thing:

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

23Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

24And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

26But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

27Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first. Luke 18

And so this is not a game of ticking our good boxes off. This is in many regards, a matter of life and death. To give JESUS our trust, understanding, time, and effort is to take our portion of heaven on earth and our claim in the new heaven to come. Sure we give to our poor fellas when we get a chance. But aren’t we all similarly poor, fellas?

17Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Revelation 3

To wrap this all up, let’s try to understand, study, search the scriptures, and figure out that the main thing we call JESUS Good is because HE is actually The GOD which gives and takes away both our riches and poverty and that HE is coming back, although we can’t tell the exact date, but HE is coming back to:

Revelation 22:12

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

…and our very work, among other things, is to seek JESUS’ face.

Luke 18:19

“And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.”

19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22

Refreshing Rest

31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. Exodus

23:12 Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed. Exodus

16:23 And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him. 1 Samuel

13:7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. 1 Kings

28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

28:12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

28:24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

28:25 When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

28:26 For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

28:28 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

28:29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working. Isaiah

30:18 And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. Isaiah

3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews

4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews

When you have accomplished a goal, rest is the next expected thing to do. May we find rest every single day because surviving a day in this wicked generation is a goal in itself.

Matthew 6:34

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

But say you just find it hard to take a good rest because of all the crazy things that surround you that you need to take care of or just won’t let you sleep like maybe health issues, bills to pay that just keep on piling up, etc. May this day then be a gift for you to find your way to JESUS CHRIST, our GOD and SAVIOR that has given us the rest that we have been waiting for: that rest that will allow you to regroup and simply reveal life’s secrets that can unlock blessings after blessings that can work as your strength to tackle the day.

Some examples of life’s secrets that have been extremely helpful to me since I got born again:

*being thankful to JESUS for all the existing blessings (including this chance to live another day) to make room for other things to come to be thankful for

*going to Church without any other intentions but to learn more about and thank JESUS CHRIST for all HIS wonderful works in my family and the whole world

Psalms 100:4

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless His Name.”

Psalms 100:5

“For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
